10 Songs That Help You Pray for Healing

If you’re praying for emotional, spiritual, or physical healing today, add these songs to your playlist. They’re full of truth and reminders of what God says about healing and wholeness.

1. “Be Okay” by Lauren Daigle

Ellie Holcomb & Lauren Daigle co-wrote “Be Okay” based on the story of a young girl who emailed Ellie questions and told her she was diagnosed with a terminal illness. No matter what you face, or what healing you need, the Lord holds you and He will never leave you.

2. “Tear Off The Roof” by Brandon Lake

Brandon Lake collaborated with The Chosen for his music video for “Tear Off The Roof.” These lyrics are matched with clips from the chapter in Matthew 9 and how Jesus healed a paralyzed man in Mark chapter 2. God’s healing is powerful and never ends!

3. “He Will” by Ellie Holcomb

Ellie Holcomb writes of the simple but beautiful promise that God will heal, deliver, and restore! It is never too late for God to fulfill His promises and work a miracle.

4. “Healing Begins” by Tenth Avenue North

Tenth Avenue North speaks about the beautiful part of healing beginning when we lay our problems at the feet of Jesus. You don’t have to put up a front, or pretend to be okay, the Lord says to come to Him just as you are.

5. “God Problems” by Maverick City Music

Sometimes our problems, are God Problems.” They can’t be solved by our power or our might, but only by the Spirit of the Living God. He is our fortress and our hiding place (Psalms 18:2, 32:7 NLT).

6. “Make a Way” by Elevation Worship

This song by Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music reminds us that nothing is impossible for our God. Whether you feel in your deepest valley of mental or physical health, God will make a way and He will turn it for your good.

7. “Only Takes a Moment” by Cory Asbury

Cory Asbury has already sung about the reckless love of God. In that, it doesn’t make sense when he leaves the 99 just to find the one- us. This song tells us that it only takes a moment for God to heal our brokeness.

8. “Meant to Live” by Switchfoot

Switchfoot recreated their album “The Beautiful Letdown” with several artists like Jon Bellion. This beautiful song tells the story that despite the hardship and battles, God called us to live for so much more.

9. “Shelter” by Pat Barrett

Pat Barrett’s song “Shelter” is a great reminder that the Lord can keep us safe from harm. And even when we don’t understand why life is a battle, we can find shelter and healing in His loving arms.

10. “In Jesus Name (God of Possible)” by Katy Nichole

“God is still good. And if He says He’s who he is, then healing will come day by day. So healing may not happen in the moment that you need it to happen. But I can encourage you to just keep moving. Yeah, because that’s what I’ve been doing every single day is I just take the next step. If you lived your days, as in the present, God can work through that.” | Katy Nichole
