Phil Wickham’s Worship Echoes Through NYC Streets

If you know worship music, you know Phil Wickham.

Phil Wickham just released his new album “I Believe” and has been hitting the streets of New York City to perform one of his latest songs. And I have to say, this track is a little different than his normal sound. Check out this video of him singing “100%.”

I am loving this R&B sound from Phil. But, if you love the classic worship sound his new album is full of amazing praise and worship tunes.

Speaking of artists that are trying different sounds, would you ever imagine Brandon Lake singing a rap song? Well, you don’t have to imagine anymore.

One of the main complaints about Christian music is that every artist or song sounds the same. But here’s the proof. There are tons of Christian artists releasing music right now, and they’re exploring new genres. It’s exciting.

Christian artists are also collaborating too…Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham are in the middle of their Summer Worship Nights Tour with We Are Messengers and KB.

“People in ministry, don’t ever fear the opportunity of inviting people into a relationship with Christ. There’s always the one. And we’re after the one.” | Brandon Lake

So not only is a ton of new music people released in the Christian music world, but more importantly, ministry is taking place. People are giving their lives to Christ and nothing can be more exciting than that.

If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders. When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.’ In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!” | Luke 15:4-7 (NLT)
