We all have watched cute or funny baby videos online at some point in our lives.
For instance, I vividly remember the “peanut butter baby” video/Vine. (Here’s a GIF for those who are curious.)
You may have seen a baby walk, dance, or talk. But one of the most encouraging things I have seen is when a baby, toddler, or even a young kid worships the Lord.
“Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” | Luke 18:16-17 NLT
Even though kids don’t fully understand it, children in church watch their parents worship and imitate them by closing their eyes and lifting their little hands. It’s beautiful.
But have you ever seen a baby full-on leading a worship session? Check out this Tiktok:

I guarantee you smiled at least once while listening/watching that.
Also, shoutout to Matt Maher who brought us this lovely song “Lord I Need You” in the first place.
Lord I come, I confessBowing here, I find my rest Without You, I fall apart You’re the one that guides my heart
Lord, I need You, oh, I need YouEvery hour, I need You My one defense, my righteousness Oh God, how I need You
Where sin runs deep, Your grace is moreWhere grace is found is where You are And where You are, Lord, I am free Holiness is Christ in me
So teach my song to rise to YouWhen temptation comes my way And when I cannot stand, I’ll fall on You Jesus, You’re my hope and stay
The family has actually made this worship session a series with baby Jack, so you can find them on Tiktok at @sierrarehrer_.
Lord,
Take away my pride and help me to never lose a child-like faith and wonder. I will forever be amazed by You. Amen.
