How Crowder Became Part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in “Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special”

There’s a theory out there that any famous Hollywood actor can be linked to Kevin Bacon within six degrees. It’s Bacon’s Law, or more scientifically, “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.”

It works like this. You choose a random actor. We’ll pick David A. R. White. You might know him from the God’s Not Dead movies and as the founder of Pure Flix.

We can link David A. R. White to Jennifer Taylor, who was also in “God’s Not Dead: A Light in the Darkness”. Back in the 90s, she was starred in a movie with Kevin Bacon which means David A. R. White has a Bacon number of 2.

In an amazing turn of events, David Crowder sat down with Relevant Magazine and went down a crazy Rabbit Hole on how his house is now part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (more on that later.) We also learned Crowder has a Bacon number of 1! Wait? What?

Get ready! There are a lot of things to unpack here.

It all started when Crowder gave a house tour to People Magazine back in 2021. Crowder’s house is absoltely gorgeus. Chip and Joanna Gaines have nothing on Crowder and Toni. They turned what was once the ugliest house in Atlanta in a modern masterpiece.

Skip to 2022. Crowder said he and his wife literally got a knock on the door from Marvel Studios. “They said the plot deal is that the Guardians want to give a gift to Star Lord, to cheer him up. They think the best thing they can give to him is the person, Kevin Bacon.”

There’s that Kevin Bacon connection.

“They’re going to go kidnap Kevin Bacon from Earth, who they would like for Kevin Bacon’s house to be our house. They want to break into our house and steal Kevin Bacon. I’m like, “Wait, what? Rewind all of that because that’s magnificent… and yes, absolutely!”

So Marvel used Crowder’s house as Kevin Bacon’s home in the Christmas special. Watch The Guardians break into Crowder’s house so they can kidnap Kevin Bacon for Chris Pratt in the trailer below.

Superheroes, Christian Music, AND Kevin Bacon! It’s a Christmas miracle.

You can watch the Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special starting on Nov. 25 on Disney+.
