How Jeremy Camp Turned to Jesus to Overcome His Anxiety

Imagine being surrounded by thousands of screaming fans… but all you can think about is your heart could stop at any moment.

Earlier this year, Jeremy Camp was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) which is an irregular and often very rapid heart rhythm. The past year has been hectic as Jeremy had cardiac ablation surgery to help adjust his heart rate and still went on tour shortly after his recovery.

“I would be on my knees before every concert like ‘Jesus please help me. If I start having episodes on-stage, I’ll have to walk off.'” | Jeremy Camp

While artists write songs to help others, it is interesting that sometimes God will use those same songs to help the artist work through something they are going through. That is the case for Jeremy Camp and his songs like “Anxious Heart,” “These Days” and “I Still Believe”.

Talk about faith! Even in the scariest of circumstances, God is still with us. Despite Jeremy’s ongoing health struggles and the challenges that come with recovery, he continues to tour to share his story and his music.

There is power when we worship God through it. Let’s continue to pray for Jeremy for continued recovery in his health and many more years of music ministry!
