Have you ever had a dream?
You may know some of Pastor Greg Laurie‘s story from the 2023 movie Jesus Revolution. But what I didn’t know, is that Greg has had the dream of becoming a professional cartoonist since his childhood in the 60s.
After Greg took an art class in high school, he wanted to use his project to share his faith. He created a comic strip called “Living Water” and over 1 million copies of the strip were sent worldwide. It was over 50 years ago that his characters “Ben Born Again” and “Yellow Dog” were created.

“I want to reach people with humor but then they have something bigger to say. Through ‘The Adventures of Ben Born Again and Yellow Dog,’ we feel like we can take animation and sort of turn it on its head with something they haven’t seen before: an animated cartoon that has a wholesome, good, family-oriented message but even more, a message of the Gospel.” | Pastor Greg Laurie
Greg worked with Trilogy Animation which produced other famous cartoons like VeggieTales and Jay Jay The Jet Plane. And they have just released the entire first episode called “The Bridge Is Out!”

Greg Laurie never forgot the dream that God placed in his heart all those years ago. So if you’re reading this and you feel like your dreams are just too big or worthless, it is never too late to start again.
“Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.” | Ecclesiastes 3:11
