Have you ever been in a season where everything feels out of your control?
When someone you love gets diagnosed with an incurable disease. When your family keeps fighting. When your children stray away from their faith. When the money runs out. When you are crippled with anxiety and depression. When that person you’re witnessing to refuses to listen. When you watch that person run back to their addiction time and time again. When nothing seems to be going right.
For me, the answer right now is yes.
A lot of my life is out of my hands, and my human nature commands me to solve every issue immediately. I continue to make my requests known to God through prayer (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT) and sometimes the answer doesn’t always come when I want it to.
But, here’s the beautiful thing about faith. When our situation seems impossible, we can lay it at the feet of Jesus.
This song by Maverick City came to me at a time when I needed it most. Because it’s teaching that sometimes our problems, are God Problems. They can’t be solved by our power or our might, but only by the Spirit of the Living God. He is our fortress and our hiding place (Psalms 18:2, 32:7 NLT).
Does this mean as believers that we can just stop trying and give up? Absolutely not.
We are supposed to fight the good fight, and strive to be like Him. But, the key word there is strive. We can’t solve every problem. We are not Jesus. We don’t always have the answer. But God does. And just when you least expect it, He’ll do a new work (Isaiah 43:18-19 NLT).
There’s just some problems only God can fix
All of these trials wore me down to this
I’ve seen it happen time and time again
There’s just some problems only God can fixThere’s just some battles flesh and blood can’t win
There’ll be some moments that just don’t make sense
Can’t see it now, but I’m still convinced
There’s just problems only God can fixNot by power, not by might
By the Spirit of the living
Spirit of the living God
Not my battle, not my fight
By the Spirit of the Living
Spirit of the Living GodI’ve seen a brеakthrough that I can’t explain
I found a healing hidden in my pain
I know a dеad man that once robbed the grave
I’ve seen some breakthroughs and I will againMy fortress, my refuge
Still a strong tower, still a strong tower
My helper, defender
Still a strong tower, still a strong tower
O-o-oh, Someone let the people know
Anything is possible
No weapon will prosper
Still a strong tower, still a strong tower
Don’t lose hope. God says the best is yet to come. When everything feels out of control, He is in control. Cast your cares on Him for He cares about you (1 Peter 5:7 NLT).

Absolutely beautiful message. There is healing hidden in the pain. God is moving in our lives and answering prayers even when we can’t see it or feel it. Love this <3
