The Baxter’s, a television drama based on a book series by Karen Kingsbury premieres on Amazon Prime, March 28th.
After reading the Francine Rivers novel, Redeeming Love, Karen says

Executive producer, Roma Downey will be playing the loveable and wise, Elizabeth Baxter. Her husband John Baxter will be played by Ted McGinley. The story is adapted from Karen Kingsbury’s Redemption series. Set in Bloomington, Indiana, the story follows John and Elizabeth as they lead their family of 5 adult children.
The TV series, like the book series, begins with 10 episodes introducing us to the firstborn Baxter, Kari. When Kari discovers her professor husband Tim, is having an affair with one of his students. She must find comfort in her family and faith to discover if love is a choice or if her marriage can be redeemed.
The theme of family is the driving force behind Karen’s books. She captures the hearts of her fans with a mix of everyday life journeys, unexpected twists and an inspiring focus on following God.
