This is a very emotional post for me. My sister and I sang “There Was Jesus” at my aunt’s funeral in 2022. This song is very special to my family because even in the hurt, Jesus was and always will be there. To watch this song be performed as a family connects for the first time is bittersweet. God reminded me that no matter what hurt my family faces, we will meet again.
