Although Roman did not make it to the 10, check out this inspiring response in the comments when he received some backlash for this specific performance.

Roman Collins Instagram Comment: I love the all the comments/support. I’m well aware that to some people this is doing too much, and that’s totally okay. To each its own… however if you watched the entire audition in the video prior, they showed my dad telling my story of my health challenges growing up. The fact that I’m alive now is a blessing and I choose to praise God with every chance that I get, I won’t turn it down for anyone. If it’s not for you that’s totally fine, but this how I praise on any stage. God bless you all. If it wasn’t for you no worries at all, love you guys. I hope you enjoy this season, it’s really a great season with amazing people 🫶🏾

2.A family reunion ft. Dolly Parton & Zach Williams.

McKenna Breinholt auditioned in the upcoming season of American Idol with Zach Williams & Dolly Parton’s iconic duet of “There Was Jesus.” In an exciting turn of events, her performance was followed up by a surprise visit McKenna will never forget.

McKenna made it to the Top 7 this season and although she is not participating anymore, her audition is a powerful story we will never forget.

3. Someone call Hillsong!

American Idol contestant Abi Carter brought an unexpected moment of worship when she covered the Hillsong United Song “Oceans” during the show’s top 24 episode at Disney Aulani Resort in Hawaii.

“Everyday I thank God who got me here today.” | Abi Carter

It is so encouraging to see the musicians use this platform to share the gospel of Jesus! Who knows, we could have another amazing upcoming Christian music artist on our hands! We’ll just have to wait and see.
