Good Friday Nashville 2026 celebrated its 10 year anniversary, featuring Chris Tomlin and surprise guests. Here’s a look at what happened, including a powerful testimony that spans across the globe.
After kicking off the concert with a welcome from his wife and a prayer from the Governor of Tennessee, Tomlin jumped right into the music.
The night was filled with incredible musical talent, including a 100 person choir led by Dwan Hill, one of the founders of The Choir Room. Chris Tomlin sang many of his beloved songs, such as How Good It Is and even Thank You Lord, which he recorded with country artists Thomas Rhett and Florida Georgia Line.
Speaking of country artists, the first special guest of the night was Jordan Davis, who opened with his hit song Buy Dirt, followed by a performance of Good Good Father alongside Tomlin. The next musical guest was Brooke Ligertwood who sang What A Beautiful Name and King of Kings, both of her hits from Hillsong Worship. The final musical guest was Michael W. Smith, who sang several of his chart-topping songs, including Above All.
Worshiping God was undoubtedly the focus of the entire evening, but what’s extra special is how worship was even expressed through different languages.
“After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,” – Revelation 7:9
As the concert was wrapping up, Pastor David Nasser came on stage to talk about the current state of the world, as he and his family immigrated from Iran when he was a young boy. He shared that God gave him a vision of a stadium full of people singing Holy Forever in every language. This vision prompted him to look for a video of Holy Forever being sung in Farsi. It was then that he found Golnosh Khorasani, a young girl from Iran who immigrated to the United States with her family and began posting videos of herself singing in Farsi. Feeling led to connect with her, Nasser sent Khorasani a message that led to a life-changing meeting.
Born with a heart condition, Khorasani’s family was told that she would only live for a few months. After taking her to a church service where she was prayed for, the doctors were left stunned when her scans showed that she had been completely healed. From that moment forward, the Khorasani family became Christians and her father began planting churches across Iran.
Three years ago, Khorasani went to a Chris Tomlin concert and heard God tell her that one day she would be on stage singing with Chris Tomlin. To remember God’s promise, she made a video of herself declaring that Word. Finally, on April 3, 2026 that declaration became a reality as she sang Holy Forever alongside Tomlin, Brooke Ligertwood, and Michael W. Smith.

While heartfelt worship flooded the arena, across languages and demographics, it was evident that God was present in the midst of the concert as everyone sang:
“Your name is the highestYour name is the greatestYour name stands above them allAll thrones and dominionsAll powers and positionsYour name stands above them all”
