Day 3: How to Stay Motivated

When it comes to sticking to a goal I’ve set for myself, staying motivated is always a problem. I’m beginning to find when I break things down into small, bite-size pieces, the goal seems more achievable.

For instance, I set one goal in the new year to learn a new language. Well, that goal as a whole can look pretty daunting. Instead, of focusing on the big goal, I’m going to break it down and focus on learning one new word every other day. Now achieving the big goal seems way more attainable if it’s a daily habit. You can put this method into practice with any goal! –Betty Rock, The Wally Show

“Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.” Galatians 1:10 (NLT)

Easy Action Steps:

  1. Look at your goals.
  2. Write down why you want to accomplish each goal. Be honest.
  3. Ask God to help you get there.

We’ll help you confront failure and work past it.
