Tyler Perry is an actor, producer, director, comedian, and the foundation of his many hats is his faith. Well known for his Madea movies, Perry often infuses stories of redemption, forgiveness, and justice in his humor.
With protests and unrest dividing the community from the Atlanta Police Department, Tyler saw an opportunity to be a conduit of peace. He purchased 1,000 grocery gift cards and then handed them over to the APD to distribute in hopes it would bring the community together.
