The Santa Clause trilogy started with the 1994 film where Tim Allen plays a divorced dad sharing custody with his son. Over the holidays, Allen’s character has a fall out with Santa and he convinces himself it was all a dream until the next year, when he starts transforming into good ole St. Nick! The second movie doesn’t come until 12 years later when we get the perfect glimpse into Santa’s new life. Then, we’re given a weird third movie for no reason besides family friendly entertainment. All that to say – Tim Allen is the Santa 2020 needs.
