A broken back. A broken leg. And banger after banger. 🎧
The past few months have been nothing short of wild for Forrest Frank.
Back in June, Forrest broke his back in a skateboarding accident. Ouch. Most of us would’ve just stayed in bed binging Netflix, but Forrest decided to make music instead. From flat on his back, he recorded “God’s Got My Back.” A week later, he shared that God had miraculously healed him, and he was already back on his feet!
Then in July, it was Crowder who broke his leg after a freak accident. Because of the hilarious timing of the injury, he decided to tag Forrest in his post.

Forrest saw it, picked up his guitar, and tossed out a brand-new chorus idea: if you can’t stand on your own, you can stand on the Rock of Jesus. Within days, Crowder jumped in with his own verse. Together, it’s a collab no one saw coming.

Now their new track “THE ROCK” has officially dropped. Forrest brings the high-energy pop worship vibe he’s known for, and Crowder adds that gravelly, soulful sound, which brings a collab that we were not expecting.
What I love most is that it doesn’t sound like a “pity song” born out of pain. It sounds like joy. It sounds like faith refusing to stay quiet.
So if you need a soundtrack for standing firm when everything else feels shaky, hit play on “THE ROCK.”
And if you’re curious how this whole wild ride began, hear the story behind the song that was never supposed to exist. ⬇️
