Day 4: Working Past Failure

It’s easy to give up when you fail. Sleeping in late. Missing a workout. Spending too much money. We’ve all missed the mark. We all fail in small, practical tasks and on huge life-changing platforms.

On Day 1, we tried to set goals with God. And guess what! God shows us continual mercy. If you make a mistake, He doesn’t hold it over your head. In Christ, you have the freedom to try again over and over.

Your failures don’t make you a failure. When you feel terrible and defeated, Jesus wants you to come to Him with those awful feelings. Don’t beat yourself up. Ask God for forgiveness, and depend on His strength to help you move on.

“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” Romans 3:23 (NLT)

Easy Action Steps:

  1. Write down 3 times you’ve failed.
  2. Read Romans 3:23.
  3. Think about believing God loves you even when you fail. How could it change the way you live?
What’s Coming Next:

We’ll help you make a solid plan to reach your goals.
