Tim Tebow, NFL quarterback turned College Football Analyst, has always been very outspoken about his faith. In fact, after writing John 3:16 on his eye paint during the 2009 Championship Game, within 24 hours of his appearance the verse had been searched 90 million times. This led to the NCAA creating a new rule called ‘The Tebow Rule’ that banned any sort of messages or writing on eye paint. Talk about being so bold that you inspired a rule!
After stepping away from football completely in 2015, he began pursuing other endeavors. Still keeping his faith front and center in his life. Well, on Monday night, Tim was surprised during an ESPN College Football segment, where he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2023. After the announcement, he tweeted out, “Hard to put into words right now. Just incredibly honored and grateful for the opportunity and all who helped make it possible!! All glory to God.”
Congrats on such a honor, Tim!
Thank you, Tim Tebow, for being such a positive influencer and disciple, especially for younger athletes. May God continue to bless you and yours.
Congratulations. God is always by your side.
