I just want to encourage any singles to truly draw very close to the Lord and be content in His great joy. I have been married twice and now a widow. Although I had two beautiful children that were wonderful gifts from the latter marriage, both marriages were very difficult and even painful emotionally. So my thoughts are -perhaps the Lord is protecting some singles from painful experiences. I feel (when I was single) that I needed to justify my singleness so I didn’t appear like I couldn’t find a man.
We walk by faith and have to put blinders on like a horse pulling a buggy….. avoid distractions that can cause spooked knee jerk reaction causing the stride to break or suffer the pulls on the bit as our good master gets us be back on trackt….. the path of thankful obedience that looks to our Heavenly Father to hear us and help us.😁
