Derek Hough is a celebrity dancer who made it big on Dancing With The Stars before becoming a judge on World of Dance. He has been actively promoting awareness around human trafficking and this year he used statistics from the organization OUR rescue – an organization focused on “eradicating child sex trafficking” – and Lauren Daigle’s hit song “Rescue” to bring awareness in a new way.

Absolutely beautiful. This is what we need to be marching for. This is what we need to be carrying signs for. We can pray till the cows come home, but we need feet on the ground. Legislators who will make real extreme laws, law enforcement/federal officers/judges, etc to break every chain that would stop them and rescue these beautiful souls from satans minions. Please God show us how we can serve in the fight to save these, your creations, your innocents.
What I hear from this post is that child trafficking is a more worthy cause than the black lives that are struck down senselessly in the streets. Is that what you intend to imply? I’m trying to give some grace here. If so, I bet they both grieve God greatly. His people should check their hearts when some atrocities are “more worthy causes” than others. He cares about ALL life period!
No, I do not mean what you think. Every life is precious to God. Always have been, always will be. He created us all. Every color…which is beautiful. I just have a heart for those who have no voice. Thank you! My only goal was to help people see that their priorities may not align with God’s. Anyone He creates is an image bearer. Somewhere along the way, the Church forgot the gospel and scriptures about justice. We can only hope eyes and hearts are opened to care about all of the issues/people He cares about and not the ones we prioritize based on our biases, preferences, etc. Blessings to you!

I guess my point is that we, as children of God, should care about all atrocities happening to all of His creation. For some reason, you have put a priority on some lives versus others, but I doubt that’s the heart of God. JUSTICE is a central theme in the word, and it covers EVERYONE! So sad that Satan has taken over the minds of adults who take advantage of innocents. I pray we get politicians voted in who are not partaking in this madness so the people caught trafficing humans will get severe sentences. Whey the judges are themselves using these services they don’t give the right sentences.
