Thousands Broke Out in Worship at Walt Disney World

Fireworks, churros, and a praise party! 🙌 🏰

At Epcot in Walt Disney World, something totally unexpected happened. Thousands of people raised their hands and voices, praising Jesus in the middle of the “most magical place on Earth.”

Last week, Maverick City Music took the stage during EPCOT’s Garden Rocks Concert Series.

In one of the videos from the night, Naomi Raine takes a moment to speak directly to the crowd, reminding them of the victory we have in Jesus.

@naomiraineofficial Declaring the victory we have in Jesus in Epcot, Disney🥹🙌🏾 Worshipping at Disney World this week was so special. In the middle of all the crowds and noise, there’s nothing like the real joy of singing about Jesus. His truth still stands, no matter where we are! #WorshipMoments #DisneyWorld #WorshipAnywhere ♬ original sound – Naomi Raine

The stage lights were on, the crowd was packed, and yet, somehow it felt like church.

“The Holy Spirit showed up and they proved that the Lord can show up whenever and wherever.” — Elizabeth P.

It’s been years since Disney discontinued their Christian music festival, Night of Joy. A lot of people assumed that meant the end of faith-based music at the parks. But in recent years, something new is blooming especially during seasonal festivals at EPCOT. TobyMac, MercyMe, and now Maverick City Music have all brought worship into the parks. We The Kingdom is set to close out the Flower & Garden Festival on June 1 and 2.

JWLRKS helped Mav City lead worship that night. Play along and see how well they know their Disney soundtracks.

That night in EPCOT, it wasn’t about dreams coming true… it was about the One who made the dreamers.
