Every moment matters.
Micah Tyler’s brother Daniel, who courageously battled cancer for seven years, passed away at just 37 years old. In this season of deep loss, Micah and his family need our prayers for comfort, peace, and strength.
Micah shared a moving post earlier this week about Daniel’s life and the impact he had on so many people.
Here are some of the stories Micah highlighted:
- I’ve talked to nursery workers who kept him as a sweet little baby at church.
- I’ve heard from pre-k and elementary teachers who knew him as the nervous little boy who cried every day before school.
- I’ve listened to classmates who remembered him becoming a little “social butterfly,” making big memories and a character in big stories.
- I read posts from his best friends after high school that talked about the impact he made on him during those vulnerable years of figuring out life together.
- I watched the tears fall from students that he impacted as their youth pastor.
- I was blown away by his friends in ministry preaching messages about his faithfulness at his celebration of life services.
Daniel’s story reminds us that every moment of our lives matters, even when we might not realize it. Whether through small gestures or lasting friendships, God uses us to impact others in ways we may never see. Micah’s song “Never Been a Moment” echoes this truth:
“There’s never been a momentI was not held inside Your arms And there’s never been a day when You were not who You say You are” | Micah Tyler
Even in the face of unimaginable loss, we can hold onto the promise that God is faithful. He is with us through every season, working all things for good, even when it’s hard to understand.
Let’s join together in praying for Micah Tyler’s family during this difficult time. And may Daniel’s story remind you that your life matters. God is working through you, even in the smallest moments.
