The Chosen fans, get ready for your next biblical TV show—House of David is coming to Amazon Prime on February 27!
They’re kicking things off with three episodes right away, and then you’ll get a new one each week after that. The show takes us deep into the life of young David—starting as a shepherd boy, facing off with Goliath, and rising to become one of Israel’s greatest kings.
The cast includes Broadway star Michael Iskander, who plays David, Avatar’s Stephen Lang takes on the role of the prophet Samuel, and Martyn Ford (who looks like he was made to play Goliath) is bringing the giant to life.
It’s not just retelling Bible stories—it’s bringing them to life in an epic way that feels real and relatable. So, if The Chosen made you feel more connected to the disciples, this show is about to do the same with David’s story.
And just when you think it couldn’t get any better… for KING + COUNTRY is part of the soundtrack! Joel and Luke recorded a version of U2’s “40″ for the series—fitting, since the song’s lyrics come straight from Psalm 40.
As the show puts it:
“It’s not about the greatness of the giant, it’s about the greatness of God.”
Sounds like something worth watching, right?
