Ok. So I’m a 30yr old and my sister is 25. OMg i have legit been searching for the same movie since i was a kid and my mom gave it away! It was my fav movie growing up! I thought it was called “Sun Mountain” but i have searched for years!!!!!!!
Okay this was over a year ago, so I don’t know if you ever found it. But I had this exact thing pop into my head today, and I saw you never got an answer, so I sat and called my sisters, and then my Mom, and we finally sussed this out.
It was Barry McGuire (Bullfrogs and Butterflies), and the video was called “Adventures on Son Mountain”. The song we were trying to remember with the Apostles names was “Choosin’ Friends”, and you can hear it on Spotify.

There was a christian dvd…I think there may have been several in the series…it was of a girl who babysat two children and learned Biblical lessons on their adventures…which is where the video became animated. The only animation I remember is of them becoming fish and learning some lesson…One child became a blowfish….and at the beginning of the video like with the song, she wakes up and when in her kitchen, she talks to her toaster oven…anybody remember this one? I’d like to let my other girls see these….thanks!

I watched Gospel Bill, Mr. Mustache, and Circle Square.on PTL when I was a kid. There’s one faith-based show out there, though that was never picked up by PTL or Odyssey, and that’s The Good Book, hosted by Robert Morse of How to Succeed in Business and Mad Men fame. The full title was The Good Book Traveling Show, and it was a 1982 kids show about The Bible. I hope someone will remember this! It was real kids, but for some reason, I think I recall a costumed dog. It wasn’t Psalty. I only remember one episode where a little boy and this dog went into this really dark, scary forest. Very Snow White-ish. This DEEP voice was singing “Alone In Briar Woods”. I’ve looked everywhere and can’t figure out what that was!
The Gospel According to St Bernard? Wouldn’t be sure of the exact episode, but it’s one of the series’ I can remember with a costumed dog.
I don’t know if this helps, because it might not have ever have been made into a show, but the details sound like the audio story Nathaniel the Grublet. There’s a song in a deep voice singing about being “Alone in Dire Woods” and Nathanial has a dog companion named Smuggles.
There was a cartoon about a kid who played a board game I think, and he got sucked in to the game. Along the way he was tempted by a slothful character with very tired eyes who tried to get him off the path and eat a lot of candy. Does anyone remember this??

There were circus clowns, and people dressed up like circus animals (face makeup, costumes). And there was like an evil ring master that tricked one of the clowns to go into show business and at the end the clowns end up being put in a cage

Well this is a long shot 😂 But my family and I are driving ourselves crazy trying to remember the name of a Christian kids show/movie that I believe would’ve been made in the 90s. We think the backgrounds were animated but the kids were real. They were racing on exercise balls toward the edge of a cliff 🫣😂 I remember a girl with dark hair saying…”I’m winning…I’m winning…I’m NOT winning!” If anyone understands this reference I will be shocked but I am desperate lol!
I am trying to find a series of music videos, there were real kids. One song was fruit of the spirit, another one was about the alphabet, others had songs about the bible. There’s a VHS I watched a long time ago about children praising and dancing. I know there are several children’s groups that do this, but it was a video that really impacted me. That’s Commander Kellie and the SuperKids! One of the best Christian series ever! It was produced by Kenneth Copeland Ministries, and has 5 episodes. The first 4 were done in the 90s, and the last one was in 2013 (wasn’t as good though).

It was a camel, I had been looking for the same thing for years. Because I wanted my kids to watch it. It was called Greatest Heroes and legends of the Bible. I had to come back and post this because I had been searching for it, for a long time.
It used to be on tv all the time, and used to love watching it on saturdays and sundays.
I was looking for a movie that has to do with the nativity scene.. In general its very similar to the 2017 nativity movie Star where its told through the animals.
This one is much older though. It has a camel and a cow i think and they tell a story that flashes back to the stubborn young version of the camel. And the story is about how him missing out on something he really wanted allowed him the chance to witness the birth of christ.

There was a movie I remember vaguely at a SBC youth group in the 90s. I only remember one scene, it was these teens that were on an elevator heading to hell. I think the elevator was made out of prison bars, lots of red and smoke everywhere and for some reason I think they were all crying? Hello iv been trying to find this movie for soo long. Its about all these little animals planting food for a harvest party i think, but every night something steals from there crops. Near the end of the movie they find out it is a skunk who is stealing the food to provide for his kids, because his skunk wife died in a house fire.
