If there’s one thing for KING + COUNTRY knows how to do, it’s make music that feels like a movie. Which makes sense, because they actually made one (Unsung Hero anyone?). I mean, they literally have a Taylor Swift cover that sounds straight out of a rom-com.
Luke and Joel are no stranger to high-level produced videos. And their latest project, the music video for “World on Fire,” might be one of their most moving yet.
Joel and Luke Smallbone traveled all the way to the Dominican Republic to film the video, which features a child sponsored through Compassion International, a ministry helping children break free from poverty in Jesus’ name. The song’s message about courage, identity, and shining brightly for God.
There’s a beautiful quote often attributed to St. Catherine of Siena that says:
“Be who God made you to be, and you will set the world on fire.”
And that’s exactly what seems to be happening, literally.
The video sparked a global dance trend, with fans around the world joining in to share their own versions. There’s even an ASL version!

It’s hard not to smile watching people across the globe move to a song about faith, unity, and hope, three things our world could use a lot more of.

So here’s a little challenge: How can you shine your light for Jesus today?
We say “this little light of mine,” but when all of our lights come together, just like in this global dance, we might just set the world on fire. 🔥
