It’s always powerful to see Christian artists take the National stage with opportunities to speak openly about their faith and showcase their music.
Recently, Fox News started a “Faith & Friends” concert series leading up to Easter. The series is leading viewers through Lent as they feature some of the top artists in Christian music.
Kicking off the series was Naomi Raine from Maverick City Music and TAYA from Hillsong United performing “Jireh” and “Oceans.” Skip to 2:49 to hear their amazing performance.
One of the anchors mentioned that it seems like we are in a time of revival and that people are becoming more receptive to messages of faith. Naomi was quick to agree, affirming that “people want God”. She continued by saying,
“They want to see the power of God. They want to feel His power and presence. And so what we see happening is a response to the hunger of people.”
We’re praying that people are exposed to the grace of God and hope found in Jesus through this series and through this tour. And that people’s hearts will be hungry for God everyday.
