Carly Ann Taylor Called Him Brother. God Gave Her a Dad.

Everyone has a story, but some stories have the power to remind us that even the darkest chapters don't have to be the final ones.

For Christian artist Carly Ann Taylor, hope didn't come all at once. It came through an unexpected phone call from her older brother—a call she now believes God used to change the course of her life forever.

Growing up, Carly experienced years of abuse, instability, and abandonment. She moved constantly, spent time in foster care, and often wondered if anyone would notice if she disappeared. Music became her escape and gave her a reason to keep going, even before she understood why.

Everything changed when her older brother invited her to visit his family in California. For the first time, Carly experienced a safe home, unconditional love and heard the message of Jesus.

"They loved me back to life," Carly says.

That visit didn't just introduce her to faith—it gave her a family. Her brother and sister-in-law eventually adopted her, becoming the parents she had longed for and gave her a fresh start.

Today, Carly believes sharing that story is part of her purpose.

"I understand the responsibility... to share my testimony," she says. "I never know who's going to be in the room who needed to hear that because I was that person."

That same Hope continues through her music. Her newest song, Heavenly Father, reflects the love and security she found after years of searching for a place to belong. It's a reminder that even when earthly relationships fall short, we can find lasting Hope in a Father who never gives up on us.

If you've ever wondered whether your story matters, or if healing is really possible, Carly's journey is one you won't want to miss.
