Posted 7 years ago - Nov 20, 2019
From: Rob VischerIt’s hard to find games for a bunch of people to play at once.
1. Double Bananagrams
2. Exploding Kittens (Party Pack Edition)
3. Code Names
4. Spoons
5. Flag Football
6. Secret Hitler
7. Fish Bowl
It’s free. It’s fun. It’s easy.
What you need: A bowl. 3 strips of paper per person. 1 pen per person. A timer. A piece of paper for scoring.
How you play:
- All players sit in a circle.
- The amount of players should be even. (6,8,10,12, etc.)
- Divide players into two teams by putting every other player on the same team.
- Every player grabs 3 strips of paper.
- Every player writes down 1 unique word or phrase on each strip of paper.
- All players put their 3 strips of paper into a bowl.
ROUND 1
- One player will start with the bowl.
- She will have 45 seconds.
- She will pull out one strip of paper at a time and get her team to guess what’s on the paper.
- She can do anything to get them to guess, except for two things.
- She can’t show them the paper or say any of the words on the paper.
- When her turn is done, she will pass the bowl to the next person.
- The round is done when no strips of paper are left in the bowl.
- Stop the timer as soon as no strips of paper are left in the bowl.
- At the end of the round, count up all the strips of paper each team was able to guess.
- Write down the score.
- Put all the strips of paper back into the bowl.
ROUND 2
- If the round ended in the middle of someone’s 45 seconds, they get to keep the fishbowl and finish their turn.
- In this round, the rules remain the same as ROUND 1 with one slight change.
- This time each player acts out the words they pull from the bowl.
- During their turn they can’t say anything.
ROUND 3
- All of the rules remain the same with one slight change.
- This time each player can only say one word during his or her turn.
ROUND 4
- All of the rules remain the same with one slight change.
- This time each player can only make noises during his or her turn. (No words or actions)
