3 Things We’re Still Learning About Juneteenth

1. Freedom isn’t always immediate- even when it’s declared.

➡️ Just like the gospel message, Juneteenth reminds us that truth must be delivered to be effective. There’s power in showing up.

2. Real justice means celebrating and listening.

➡️ We don’t just post a quote and move on. We ask questions, honor stories, and listen to the lived experience of our Black brothers and sisters.

---

3. Our faith calls us to remember.

➡️ In scripture, God constantly tells His people to remember what He’s done. Juneteenth is a holy opportunity to remember what He’s brought others through — and to keep walking toward freedom together.
