God is Using Chris Tomlin at CMA Fest to Reach Thousands

CMA Fest is one of the biggest weeks in Country Music.

Thousands of people flock to Nashville from all over the world to see their favorite Country artists perform and to take in the neon lights on Broadway. There is nothing quite like it.

This year the line up was incredible: Lady A, Lauren Alaina, Maddie & Tae, Chrissy Metz, and so many others.

Side note: we think Chrissy Metz may be teasing new music and we are here for it!

The most exciting thing though, is Chris Tomlin becoming the first Contemporary Christian Artist to be a CMA Fest Artist of the Day. Honestly, it makes a lot of sense. Chris Tomlin hasn’t exactly been a stranger to country music. In 2020, he debuted his Country album “Chris Tomlin & Friends” with artists like Thomas Rhett, Cassadee Pope, and RaeLynn.

Back in 2019, Chris Tomlin lead worship at a Florida Georgia Line show. In the lead up to Chris taking the stage, Tyler Hubbard, one half of Florida Georgia Line said, “We’ve been hanging out a ton. We’ve been hitting it off. He’s become one of our really good buddies.”

And Chris Tomlin got to lead worship to thousands of Country fans again as Artist of the Day.

“God has been doing things I would have never thought imaginable… I can’t believe we were able to start CMA Fest today with an hour of worship music. Thank you so much for inviting me to be Artist Of The Day.” – Chris Tomlin

Who knows how many people Chris Tomlin was able to reach for the gospel in the middle of Nashville’s crazy week of Country Music. We can’t wait to see how God uses Chris Tomlin next.
