Pureflix watch out, banana pudding milkshakes are not the only new thing on the menu…
Yep, you read that right: Chick-fil-A is launching a streaming service.
Your favorite fast-food restaurant is diving headfirst into the entertainment space. As of August 21st 2024, Chick-fil-A reported to Deadline:
“The fast-food firm (Chick-fil-A) has been working with a number of major production companies, including some of the studios, to create family-friendly shows, particularly in the unscripted space.”
Some of those production companies include Sugar23 who has produced multiple Netflix shows, and has been approved a 10-episode order for a new show. Also, a family-friendly game show from Glassman Media, the creators of NBC’s “The Wall,” is also in the works.
Believe it or not, Chick-fil-A actually already has some experience in filmmaking as they created “Stories of Evergreen Hills.” a series of holiday short animated films and puzzles under its Pennycake brand.
This past summer Chick-fil-A rewards members could participate in a digital game called “Code Moo” to win free food and watch several short films.
This cute series following three animated cows Daisy, Sarge, and Carrots is sure to be a winner on this family-friendly platform. It is exciting to see large companies like Chick-fil-A use media to share the hope of Jesus! And to that we say, “Eat Mor Chikin!”
