Demario Davis is the current linebacker for the New Orleans Saints and has been in the NFL since 2012. In his most recent post-game interview, instead of talking about his win against the Titans, Davis decided to talk about the victory of God healing his 4-year-old daughter.
He reads out of Revelation 3:20.
“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” | Revelation 3:20 NLT
Then he begins to tell about a “knock that he heard this week.” His 4-year-old daughter has her third epilepsy/seizure attack after about 2 years. It was the worst one she had yet and they had to contact the paramedics and she had stopped breathing twice. After much prayer, she miraculously started talking normally at 3 a.m. that next morning.
“If you got stuff going on in your life, lay it before the Lord and trust. And be expecting of a knock. Because the word says what you’ve got to do is get up and open the door…and your blessing is going to be there” | Demario Davis

Demario says that at that point, he knew the game was going to worry about itself. God gave him the victory already.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” | Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT
Are you waiting to answer the door? Lay it at the feet of Jesus, and be expectant for a knock.
