Also based on a true story, this film follows a group of missionaries risking everything to share the gospel in restricted areas. Leading the cast is Elizabeth Tabish who stars as Mary Magdelene in The Chosen.

3. Light of The World

This animated film reimagines the story of Jesus’ life through the eyes of a young shepherd boy who encounters the Light of the World. With stunning animation and a message of hope and salvation, Light of the World is a great way to introduce your family or kids to the story of Jesus.

4. Chosen Season 5

The groundbreaking series that’s brought the Gospels to life continues its journey on the big screen! Season 5 is going to include some of the moments we’ve been waiting for like the Last Supper, Palm Sunday, and more.

5. King of Kings

This sweeping biblical epic is a cinematic retelling of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Including voice actors Mark Hamill, Pierce Brosnan, and Oscar Isaac as the voice of Jesus. This story is based on Charles Dicken’s short story “The Life of Our Lord” which wasn’t published until years after Dicken’s death.

Passion of the Christ Sequel?!

Mel Gibson has been teasing that there will be a Passion of the Christ sequel and production has been in the works. It will be called “The Resurrection of the Christ” and is set to be released late this year or early next year. Jim Caviezel would be reprising his role as Jesus and other details are soon to come.
